Another Friday brings another release of more of the BioWare/Dark Horse comic, Threat of Peace. Once again, I am really excited about the release because there is so much now going on in the game that just makes me tremendously happy. Granted, we don’t know how much of this information is actually going to make it into the game, but what we can come to the conclusion of is that this game is going to rock.
First and foremost, we see that the Jedi Satele is currently in direct battle with one of the Sith Lords. If you look very carefully at her, though, perhaps you might see that there are some similarities with her and another Jedi who was around…say…Three hundred years earlier? If you still don’t know, let me give you a hint. Satele’s last name is Shan. More importantly, she is referred to as having the same promise that our good friend Bastila had in KOTOR. Still don’t know the connection? Satele is Bastila’s descendant. They share the same last name. Pretty cool, huh?
Now, this just makes me wonder one thing. Who did Bastila get with to make a child? Was it Revan? Exciting!
Anyways…So, that’s cool and all. You’ve got love just how evil the Sith are. They basically say “agree to our demands or we’ll just keep blowing up Coruscant.” You’ve got to give it to the Sith for being able to ransom an entire planet off. Only the Sith could be so ballsy. Maybe I will play a Sith after all. Who knows?
Finally, we get to see that our friend, Jedi Orgus, is angry (Jedi shouldn’t be angry!) about the fact that they have destroyed the Jedi Temple. What is it with the Sith destroying the Jedi Temple? Oh yeah, they’re enemies. The Republic soldier, though, is helping Orgus out with everything going on and proving to be a useful ally. I kind of like him. I hope that there is the Republic soldier class. It’d be nice.
