I spent this past Friday anxiously clicking on “Refresh” in my browser window on http://www.swtor.com just waiting for the new news to be posted as it has been for the past couple of Fridays.  But to my sorrow there was no news on Friday, nor on Saturday, not Sunday either, and here we are on Monday with no new news to speak of.

Now as disappointed as I am that there is no news for me to write about, I am taking an optimistic viewpoint on it.  Lets just break it down into a short list of  logical reasons why Bioware had nothing new to share in order of plausibility:

1.  They have a HUGE bit of news for their next update.

I am quite fine with this possibility because frankly, I can’t wait for the next big announcement from Bioware.  Each one exponentially increases the hype in my mind for this game.

2.  They are completely swamped and had no time to make a news entry.

Making video games is difficult, and I’d imagine making an MMORPG is even more taxing on the Bioware staff.  I won’t hold it against them if they are putting their resources more important things, such as building Star Wars:  The Old Republic!  In fact I’d almost prefer it.

3.  There is nothing new to report.

Well as I wouldn’t be the happiest person in the world if this were the case, I can understand that everyone needs a bit of a break.  Perhaps its not even a beak, there is just nothing to announce as of now.

Whatever the case, I am confident with Bioware that this lack of news will not become a trend.  After all they do have tons of eager fans awaiting updates and information on this huge project.
