On Friday, BioWare and Dark Horse released their next comic in the Blood of the Empire series. In this comic, we get to see Teneb run into the ever illusive Jedi Master who had his padawan trailing him. And, most exciting, he is a Miraluka which was an obvious hint leading up to the class reveals. They fight a bit and then he lets Teneb go. However, for the poor padawan, he doesn’t get the same fate. Teneb kills him and they go off.
BioWare’s information about the comic is a little more detailed than what I wrote above. I’ll elaborate a bit more about the comic after the description. Here it is:
It’s the beginning of the end in the ninth issue of Blood of the Empireā¢. Teneb Kel awakens from his vision with a new understanding of the danger he faces–but is there still time to stop Exal Kressh’s plot against the Emperor from coming to fruition? And meanwhile, what’s going on with Maggot and the Jedi Padawan…?
Now, what exactly was Exal Kressh’s plan? What we see now is that there is a huge Republic fleet over Korriban now. This is interesting because the Emperor had no idea they were there until it was too late. Now that they are there, it appears that Korriban is going to fall. Or, so it would seem. Teneb is obviously going to do what he can to prevent it.
The comic is beginning to come to an end. There will probably be three more issues to round it out, but I might be mistaken. However, if they are looking to make a comic book, they’ll probably go with four of these web comics per comic and have three. And, when talking to someone on the inside, he did mention that there were fifteen comics on the corporate plans for Dark Horse. Exciting anyone?
