So, it's not often that I am wowed. Okay, that's not exactly true. I've always been wowed when it has come to Star Wars, but other than that, very rarely am I wowed. It's just too damn hard to wow me because I have such high expectations of games. Today, I watched the EA press conference and other than the fact that it was damn amazing to see everyone walk out in Sith and Jedi attire (with armor, ... more. -

The Electronics Entertainment Expo 2009 is finally here and as it is arguably the most important couple of days of the year for the video game industry, is it too much to pray for an enormous announcement for TOR. I think not! Now certainly E3 traditionally focuses mainly on console games, but with the official Smuggler announcement coming this week, we know that Bioware is hard at work on TO... more. -

A recent interview in Edge Magazine with Bioware's director of The Old Republic, James Ohlem, confirms one more class to the ever growing rerepertoire. The Interview confirmed the much anticipated (at least for me) Smuggler class, and it even confirmed the Smugglers starting planet as Ord Mantell, their recently announced planet. As Ord Mantell is a world of enormous criminal empires that cont... more. -

It appears that the Timeline videos that are being published once every month and a half are actually going backwards rather than forwards. So, the Timeline 1: Treaty of Coruscant is the most recent event and we are now going back in time. We pick up to the point before the Treaty of Courscant where there is a tremendous blockade on Coruscant. The people are starving and are starting to panic. The... more. -

Hey all, This past Friday came a huge bit of information...the Trooper class. A long awaited, and somewhat expected, class has been officially announced on Bioware's website as well as several new bits of screenshots, concept art, and wallpaper. As Bioware describes it, the Trooper class is very similar to what one would imagine from your classic "heavy weapons guy" with big guns and heavy ... more. -

This last issue of Threat of Peace introduces a character that is clearly a Bounty Hunter, which is appropriate considering that they just announced the Bounty Hunter class a couple of weeks ago. The Bounty Hunter, named Braden, is on Dantooine tracking the wookiee, Dalborra who works for the Imperial Army. The Bounty Hunter, who is being employed by the Republic, is told to abort his contrac... more. -

I spent this past Friday anxiously clicking on "Refresh" in my browser window on http://www.swtor.com just waiting for the new news to be posted as it has been for the past couple of Fridays. But to my sorrow there was no news on Friday, nor on Saturday, not Sunday either, and here we are on Monday with no new news to speak of. Now as disappointed as I am that there is no news for me to write... more. -

We saw the release of another planet by BioWare, Ord Mantell, and obviously we were all excited. We're always excited when there is new content released and we are shown glimpses into what is going to be available in the game. With the release of Ord Mantell and the release of Nal Hutta, we have a few planets to really start playing around with. It sort of makes sense too. On Nal Hutta, we know wh... more.
