Looking at the plot of this game, what we see is that there are a ton more Sith than in the movie time period. Because of this, I often ask myself while I am sitting in class thinking about the game, whether or not there is going to be some sort of a Darth title. Will I, if I play as a Sith, be able to become Darth “whatever my name is?” Or, am I stuck with just my name?

There are pros and cons to this. The cons, first, are that what we’ll have is a bunch of noobs running around immediately putting “Darth” in front of their name. To counteract this, make it so that you can’t put the world Darth in front of your name and instead, just make it an earned title. Another issue is whether or not it is lore. I understand that Malak and Revan called themselves Darth, but does the “True Sith Empire” call themselves Darth whatever? Those are the cons.

The pros are that having a Darth whatever is a really cool idea. It gives you something to achieve. I thought of a way to counteract the everyone having the name Darth and it was thanks to both Chris and some other friends. What if they did it in a similar style to what WoW did in their old PvP rankings? Each week, there is the highest rank PvPer and that is how you become Darth. If you are the highest rank, you get the title “Darth.”

But, Jacob, what happens if we become the second best? Does that mean we lose Darth? No. What happens is they call the rank “The Dark Lord of the Sith” or something equal to the highest Sith. Even if you lose that highest rank, you attained Darth and therefore, you are forever known as “Darth whatever.” So, each week, there’d be a new Darth. But, we can obviously assume that the older Darths would be vying for the highest rank each week, so it’d prevent against more people becoming Darth and leave it to the TRUE elite.
